GlanceCast (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "GlanceCast") attaches great importance to your privacy (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "the User") and the protection of your personal data. GlanceCast provides applications, games, content, and other digital products, in-app services, and related services through the Platform (collectively, the "Services").
Depending on your role on the Platform (merchant or end-user), we process your personal data as set out below to enable the provision of Services:
If you are a registered merchant on the Platform, we process the following personal data about you:
- Identification information (first name, last name, tax registration number);
- Contact information (email address, phone number, physical address);
- Profession;
- Photo (if you sign up via Google);
- Financial information (bank account details);
- KYC information (copy of ID/passport, address, company registration documents, and other information requested by authorities or payment service providers);
- Transactional information (application/product flows shared via Zotlo, sales information, commissions, support tickets);
- Third-party application and social media information (account names, app ID, client ID, token, private key);
- Information security data (password, IP address, logs);
- Marketing information (cookie records).
If you are an end-user on the Platform, we process the following personal data about you:
- Identification information (first name, last name);
- Contact information (email address, phone number, physical address);
- Financial information (credit card or other payment details);
- Transactional information (purchase history, subscriptions, support tickets);
- Information security data (password, IP address, logs, device, browser, operating system);
- Marketing information (cookie records).
If you contact us via the Platform (e.g., to ask questions or make requests), we process the following personal data about you:
- Identification information (first name, last name);
- Contact information (email address);
- Information security data (IP address, logs);
- Marketing information (cookie records).
If you visit the Platform (without registering or logging in), we process the following personal data about you:
- Information security data (IP address, logs);
- Marketing information (cookie records).
3. Purposes of Processing
The purposes and legal bases for processing your personal data depend on your role on the Platform (merchant, end-user, or contact):
If you are a registered merchant on the Platform, we process your personal data:
- To provide the Services;
- To enable transactions related to the Services;
- To onboard you onto the Platform;
- To onboard you with relevant payment service providers;
- To ensure compliance with applicable laws;
- Legal basis: The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and/or necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject.
If you are an end-user on the Platform, we process your personal data:
- To provide the Services;
- To enable transactions related to the Services;
- To enable you to track your transactions;
- Legal basis: The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and/or necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject.
If you contact us via the Platform, we process your personal data:
- To respond to your inquiries or requests;
- For marketing purposes;
- Legal basis: Based on your consent for the specific purpose, and/or the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
If you visit the Platform, we process your personal data:
- To fulfill our information security obligations;
- To maintain and optimize the functionality of the Platform and Services;
- To analyze your personal preferences and use of the Services;
- Legal basis: The processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (e.g., ensuring information security) and/or for our legitimate interests (e.g., maintaining and optimizing Platform functionality), and/or based on your consent for analysis and targeted advertising.
4. How We Collect Your Personal Data
We collect your personal data:
- Directly from you via the Platform when you use our Services or contact us;
- Automatically as you access or use the Platform or Services.
We use cookies and other technologies to collect personal data on our Platform. Browsers typically allow cookies by default. You may adjust your browser settings to manage cookie usage (e.g., disable or delete non-essential cookies). Disabling optional cookies may limit certain functionalities of the Platform or Services but will not hinder basic access. For details on our cookie usage, please refer to our Zotlo Cookie Policy. For browser-specific instructions, please consult your browser's help function.
If you are a registered merchant, we may also obtain information about you from third parties (e.g., payment service providers for risk assessment purposes) or from payment service providers you integrate with your Platform account.
If you sign up via Google, we obtain your identification information and photo from your Google account. If you link third-party application or social media accounts (e.g., Google, Facebook, Apple, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat) to the Platform, we obtain account information from those third parties (e.g., app ID, client ID, token, private key).
5. Third Parties with Whom Personal Data Is Shared
We may share your personal data with:
- Public authorities/institutions if required by laws, regulations, or other legal obligations;
- Business partners (e.g., IT service providers) within the scope of the above purposes and legal bases to enable Service provision;
- Payment service providers: If you are a merchant, your KYC information will be transferred to payment service providers when you engage in transactions or initially provide such information;
- End-user affiliates: If you are an end-user, your personal data will be transferred to merchants, mobile apps, web-based products, and websites you purchase from or subscribe to (subject to their privacy policies and user agreements—please review these for details on their specific processing practices).
Special notes:
- If you are an end-user, your credit card data is processed and stored exclusively by licensed third-party payment service providers. We do not access or store your credit card information. If you consent to saving your credit card information for future purchases via GlanceCast, it will be stored by the licensed service provider. You may manage or delete saved credit card information at any time via the Platform. If you subscribe to recurring payments, the licensed service provider will automatically charge your card.
- If you forget your credentials, you may contact our support team to verify or retrieve them using previously used purchase credit card information. Verification will be conducted via the licensed payment service provider's systems, and GlanceCast will not access or display your full, unmasked credit card information. Do not share full, unmasked credit card information with our support team via email or other channels.
6. Transfers to Third Countries or International Organizations
Your personal data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly through our business partners in certain cases.
- For countries deemed to provide "adequate protection" under applicable laws, no additional safeguards are required for such transfers.
- For countries not deemed to provide adequate protection, international transfers will be conducted using appropriate safeguards under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or derogations under Article 49(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You acknowledge that GlanceCast uses IT infrastructure and service providers across multiple jurisdictions, and your personal data may be transferred abroad if you choose to use GlanceCast.
7. Risk Assessment and Profiling
If you are a registered merchant, we will conduct credit and identity checks during your application and periodically throughout our relationship to onboard you and process transactions. This includes:
- Sharing your personal information (e.g., name, company, contact details, and other onboarding/transaction information) with third parties;
- Obtaining public and shared credit information about your financial situation and history.
We use this information to:
- Assess your creditworthiness;
- Verify the accuracy of information you provide;
- Prevent criminal activity (e.g., fraud, money laundering);
- Manage your account;
- Trace and recover debts.
We will continue exchanging information about you with third parties throughout our relationship and will inform third-party payment service providers about your accounts.
Our financial risk assessment process is partially automated. While automated profiling may generate merchant assessments, final decisions are reviewed by our authorized personnel and are not based solely on automated processing.
8. Retention Periods and Erasure
We will retain your personal data:
- For the duration of our contractual relationship with you, extended by applicable statutory limitation periods (whichever is longer);
- If processing is necessary to fulfill legal obligations, for the duration of such obligations.
Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, we will erase or irreversibly anonymize your personal data.
9. Technical and Organizational Security Measures
We take reasonable physical, technical, organizational, and administrative security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
